The 5th July marked the NHS 73rd birthday and saw NHS charities nationally celebrating NHS staff for all their incredible work over the pandemic.

READ MORENHS heroes from Sussex join The Duke of Cambridge for a ‘Big Tea’ at Buckingham Palace as thousands hold their own events to say thank you to the NHS. Three healthcare workers from Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust were part of a group of NHS staff who got the chance to attend a special ‘Big Tea’ on the birthday of the NHS, hosted by The Duke of Cambridge at Buckingham Palace on Monday 5 July.

READ MOREHeads On launches “Everyday Smiles”; a primary school mental health project. There will be a live stream on 17 May 2021 with Amelie Collyer from the Art House Worthing who will be showing young people how to decorate a treasure box for them to store items that make them smile in. There will also be a recorded video with a representative from Royal Pavilion & Museums Trust explaining how to catalogue items to create a “museum of smiles” within the boxes. All participating schools will receive a mental health resources focusing on anxiety, links to the live stream and museum tutorial and a short assembly introduction focusing on anxiety.
