The Big Grin

Friday 11th March saw people dress up, dress down, sell cakes, tell jokes and make each other smile for Heads On's first ever 'The Big Grin' event. It was fantastic to see people really getting into the spirit of the day with some incredible costumes and wigs, all in aid of fundraising for Heads On and opening up conversations about mental health in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Sam Allen, Director of Strategy and Improvement for Sussex Partnership Trust said:
“It was a really fun way to raise funds for Heads On, who are helping people with mental health problems feel supported in their communities. It felt good to raise funds for Heads On and put a smile on my colleagues’ faces at the same time!”
We’re so grateful to everyone who got involved and helped us raise over £1,000 so far. It will fund things that make life better for the people that come to Sussex Partnership for help, purchasing items and enabling projects that assist with people’s recovery and make them more comfortable during the time they spend with us.
