Anti-Racism in Healthcare Conference Call For Submissions

Heads On are working in partnership with BSMS Medical School and the NHS Charities Together COVID-19 fund to launch our FREE in-person Anti-Racism in Healthcare Conference on the 12th March 2024.

We would like to invite anyone working (or studying) in health and social care (clinical, academic or managerial) to showcase their recent anti-racism projects at this very important conference.

To share your project at the event, please submit an abstract of your talk, workshop or poster on the University of Sussex website here.

An expert panel will review and select the best presentations/posters to be showcased on the day.

Submission deadline - Monday 15th January 2024 at 5pm.

We are especially interested in hearing about projects aimed at improving:

• The health access/outcomes of patients
• The wellbeing/working conditions of staff

Who can present? Anyone working in:
• NHS Trusts
• Primary Care
• NHS charities
• Social Care
• Health-based third sector organisations
• Universities (students and staff)
• Grassroots organisations working on relevant
We are keen to hear both from those with lived experience of racism as well as anti-racist allies.
