Get creative and help design a mural for Worthing Seafront

Grab your pencils and be part of something special. Following the launch of Living Histories, we are inviting you to be a part of this next stage of the exhibition design.

This spring and summer, Living Histories will be popping up across Sussex including a special outdoor installation at  Seafront Shelter in Worthing throughout April, May and June 2026.  As part of this, we have the chance to create a brand‑new mural for the shelter… and that’s where you come in.

If you’ve used mental health services in Sussex, or worked within them, we’d love to invite you to a interactive, imagination‑fuelled art workshop where you’ll help design the mural for Worthing’s seafront.

The session will be led by illustrator Dave Bain, the artist behind the Living Histories visual identity. You can explore his work here: www.davebain.com.

All we ask is that you’ve listened to at least one Living Histories podcast. Together, we’ll reflect on the stories, share experiences, and use art to spark ideas and memories. Don’t worry if you don’t think of yourself as artistic, Dave will guide you step by step as you sketch, doodle, and bring your thoughts to life.

Please book your space below:

Tuesday 21 April, 1.15pm at Worthing Library, Worthing
