Worthing Christmas parkrun

21 Heads On runners donned the traditional purple and festive hats to take on Worthing parkrun on Saturday 21st December, amongst a field of 414 runners.

This marked the graduation of the Worthing One Step at a Time run course, facilitated by peer trainer Jeremy Sandford. The runners, made up of run group members and staff from SPFT, were also joined by a couple of the Haywards Heath run group members, who completed their first run last week in Clair Park.

The weather managed to hold off long enough to not soak everyone through, and the festive cheer was tangible. Congratulations to Jeremy for his 50th parkrun, and for Saturday being a year since the One Step at a Time run group came into existence.

The run group starts again in January at Worthing Leisure Centre in Durrington. If you are interested in coming along, please email Jeremy at OneStepTime@sussexpartnership.nhs.uk
