Willow Ward Smash Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

The Willow Ward Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge team set out to raise £1,000 for Heads On to support Health in Mind - and they smashed it!

After months of training the challenge took place on 6 April. The team did the challenge in 11 hours and 50 minutes and faced some tough and exhausting climbs.

'We were all over the moon to have made it', said team member Charlie Hole. 'And although we all ached and were struggling to walk it was a massive achievement for us all! This challenge has not only brought together all parts of our team including nurses, support workers, psychologists and domestic staff, it has strengthened our bond and has only made our working dynamics even better! It is a memory that we will all cherish and we are already planning our next adventure!'

Thank you to the wonderful team members who took part: Steve Shepard, Laura Ferguson, Rebecca Francis, Emma Harrington, Kirsty Purdie, Abi Pike, Charlie Hole, Abigail Fenton, Damien Hilder and Keith Priest - you've all done brilliantly!
