Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteering can help you make friends, learn new skills, advance your career, and even feel happier and healthier.

If you are interested volunteering at Heads On, there are two ways in which you can get involved...

  1. Through our events, such as Walk for Wards. We need volunteers to help register people, to be on checkpoints and parking stewards. We are currently recruiting for Walk for Wards volunteers for June, so please contact us if you'd be interested!
  2.  Through the trust, complementing the work of healthcare professionals to enhance the experience of our service users. This could be by offering social and therapeutic support to service users on a ward or department, such as listening and chatting to service users, participating in board games, quizzes, crosswords, gardening, arts or musical activities. If you are interested, please contact the team or visit the SPFT volunteering website.

How you can help

Whether you make a donation, attend an event or fundraise for us, every penny will help make life better for people with mental health problems.
