Knock-out Charity Boxing Match

Paige Yarwood, a support worker at the Hellingly Centre, took on the brave task of training for and completing a charity boxing match to raise funds for Heads On. Boxing was a totally new venture for Paige, and she really enjoyed the challenge.

The Hellingly Centre is a modern purpose built medium secure unit for people aged over 18 who have mental health problems and who have become involved with the criminal justice system. Paige has raised £408 and counting for the Hellingly Centre fund, and wants to use it for more boxing equipment for both the men and women on the three wards at the Centre. The service users now also have access to a multi-purpose all-weather pitch, as funded by Heads On, where such activities can take place.
