Jagos Fundraising Funanza

A huge thank you to Katy and daughter Jago (our youngestsupporter!) who raised an outstanding £589.50 at their fundraiser last month! We are so grateful to Katy for both supporting us and raising awareness of new parents mental health.

The event was a fun filled and interactive day at the Pea Pod Café in Arundel, open to babies, toddlers and of course their grown ups too!

Katy commented:

'It was a wonderful day at the Pea Pod Café, 60 people attended, and the time was crammed with chatting, dancing, music, diddi disco lights, parachute games, a live guitarist and singer taking requests, an animated story teller and children's stories about emotions, wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion. There was a generous raffle too. We know that the leading cause of death for women in the year after childbirth is suicide, so we aimed to welcome, explore and acknowledge whatever emotions people brought, and wanted to provide a supportive space with lots of well-being resources and signposting, that said, we saw that people smiled a lot and said the event brought a lot of happiness. We are delighted to have raised money for Heads On and were proud to be wearing our purple heads on t-shirts!'
