He did it - Ian completes 5 marathons in 5 days for Heads On

Ian Puttock completed his marathon challenge on 29 June 2018, running 132 miles in less than 27 hours, burning 9,400 calories and clocking up a staggering 286,600 steps. The routes, in and around Worthing, were completed on 25-29 June - the hottest week of the year. Whilst the rest of us were taking it easy after work, Ian ran a marathon every evening starting at 6pm.

"That was amazing. I still can't believe I really did it", said Ian. "Every evening was extremely challenging from getting myself to the start line to completing the marathon. All were different. The hills were very tough, 6 hours of running, jogging and a lot of walking. The last night was something else! The support from everyone blew me away. Something I will never forget - thank you all!"

Ian's so far raised over £2,800 for Heads On and the total is still climbing - let's get it to £3,000! We at Heads On couldn't be more in awe and more grateful. This has been a huge challenge and we are really proud of Ian. Thank you! We hope he's enjoying is very well earned holiday!
