Christopher raises £400 for Heads On and Round Table matches him

When Simon Keeble got in touch to say his son Christopher, 10, had raised £400 for Heads On by walking the Burgess Hill Green Circle we were really impressed!

Christopher's brother has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and has been supported by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). This was Christopher's way of saying thank you. It wa a brilliant amount to have raised and we were really keen to publicise Christopher's efforts.

When More Radio News ran a story on Christopher, members of Burgess Hill Haywards Heath & District were so impressed they got in touch to say they wanted to match what Christopher had raised!

'We were already really grateful to Christopher for his amazing efforts - the walk and the fundraising were a  great acheivement for a 10 year old and a really touching gesture of support for his brother,' said Sarah Walker, Community and Events Fundraising Officer at Heads On. 'So when the Round Table got in touch with their really generous donation we were absoutely delighted!' Sarah got the chance to say a personal thank you to both Christopher and Jensen Bourke, Round Table Chair, when they all met up in Burgess Hill, and to present them with Certificates of Appreciation.

A huge thank you from us all at Heads On!
