Cake sales raise £500 for Heads On

Staff across Sussex Partnership held cake sales on World Mental Health Day, raising over £500 for Heads On.

With everything from fruit cakes to chocolate Guinness cake, blueberry muffins to vegan cupcakes, the cake sales were hugely popular with both staff and service users baking, buying and eating!

The sales took place at Mill View Hospital, Swandean Trust HQ, Meadowfield Hospital, Chanctonbury, Shepherd House Recovery Unit, Cavendish House, Woodlands Centre for Acute Care, Bramble Lodge, Langley Green Hospital, Eastbourne’s Department of Psychiatry, Amberstone Rehabilitation Unit, The Hellingly Centre and The Chichester Centre.

Ella Moye, Interim Fundraising Officer, said “It is fantastic that so many staff and service users held cake sales to fundraise for Heads On – what better way to celebrate World Mental Health day? All of the funds raised will support projects for people with mental health problems across Sussex and beyond, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who baked, bought and of course ate!”
