Running for Recovery

2020 has been a challenging year, with plenty of ups and downs along the way. It has been hard to know what exactly is going on, so we are very pleased to announce our race schedule for 2021. Why not sign up for one of the below races, giving yourself something to aim for in the coming year? Read on for more details about the races we have charity places for, and how you can sign up.

Worthing Running Festival

Currently, this event is not open for new entrants. If you signed up to the cancelled February 2020 event, or the cancelled February 2021 rescheduled event, you will be sent a code in November 2021 for 2022 entry. More details will follow nearer the time.

Royal Parks Half Marathon

Join Heads On for the famous Royal Parks Half Marathon, and take in the beautiful sights of Hyde Park and St James' Park whilst running for a good cause. This race will be taking place on Sunday 11th April 2021.

If you are interested in a place, please email your interest to us by Friday 12th February. We will then send you the link to register with us, and get you set up with the race organiser.

It will cost £20 to register, and you will be expected to raise a minimum of £350. If you need any tips for fundraising, please do let us know!

Brighton Marathon

The Brighton Marathon will now be taking place on Sunday 12th September. We have a few spaces left for this event, so don’t delay!

The registration fee for this race is £25, and we would like you to raise £500. Please email, and we will send you the link to register.

London Marathon

For the first time ever, and for this year only, we have got charity places in the London Marathon, which will be taking place on Sunday 3rd October 2021.

Due to the difficulty of getting a space in this event, we will be drawing a ballot to decide who gets the two places which are available. In order to enter the ballot, please email your interest as soon as possible. The date for the ballot will be confirmed at a later date.

There is a £50 fee to register, and you are expected to raise £2,000. In order to run the race, you will need to have reached two fundraising milestones; £750 by April and £1,000 by June. We reserve the right to give your space to somebody else if you have not reached these milestones – but of course we will help you as much as we can every step of the way!

How you can help

Whether you make a donation, attend an event or fundraise for us, every penny will help make life better for people with mental health problems.
